I'm looking to be doing law when I finish school and I was wondering what subject you would find most beneficial for me in my hsc. Business studies or society and culture?
Thankyou!!

To be honest, neither will. Legal Studies isn't even required for law. Although the skills you learn in both, such as perfecting essays and such will be. Content wise, I have to be biased and say Society and Culture is awesome. It deals with very modern issues, and is kind of like every humanities subject rolled into one course. Also, there's a lot of scope in studying what you want to study with the PIP. Speak to some business studies experienced people though in order to sufficiently make up your mind.

Thankyou for your input and honesty. Society and culture sounds really good from what I have heard about it.

Business Studies is somewhat a BIT more beneficial than Society and Culture if you plan on doing law in my opinion (please correct me if I'm wrong). Also, Business Studies + Economics is quite a good combination that quite a few students tend to take on. Sorry if I'm bias but I recommend Business Studies!
However, Business Studies is a course that can probably become dry and boring at various points so yeah.

If you did Commerce in Years 9 and 10 and enjoyed the business side of it, I think Business Studies is a viable option for you.
Just do whatever you want, as long as you like the subject!
