It’s our pleasure to introduce to you our ANNUAL SMSSOC CAMP!
It’s definitely going to be one of your most memorable uni experiences, SMSSOC camp is the best way to meet new people, make life-long friends and have a tonne of fun! After all you will be spending the next 3-7 years with these people. Specifically designed to ease your transition into university life and give you the head start you know you want!
This year’s camp is jam-packed full of awesome activities, from a trivia night to rock climbing, leap of faith to free time at the beach!
So come and have a blast with us! Uni is a fresh start so break that threshold and reach your potential!

When: Friday 26th March 7 pm – Sunday 28th of March 3 pm
Where: The Collaroy Centre, Homestead Ave, Collaroy Beach 2097
Why: You don’t want to be left out of this one! Don’t be the only person who doesn’t get the in-jokes on the following Monday.

What: SMSSOC Camp 2010

Why: You don’t want to be left out of this one! Don’t be the only person who doesn’t get the in-jokes on the following Monday.
Daytime activities include:
- Rock climbing - climb up an artificial wall with rock holds secured onto a ply wood surface
- High ropes course & leap of faith - manoeuvre your way through a ropes course comprised of 6 elements and is suspended 8 m at the highest point. Upon completion ofn this courese, you then climb a solitary pole 8 m high where you will leap (whilst being harnessed of course!) to grab a metal ring. You will then be lowered to the ground by instructors
- Archery - use a bow and arrow to shoot at a target 15 m away
Note: Due to scheduling difficulties, swing by choice is no longer available as an activity option
- Leadership and friendship workshops
- Freetime to visit the beach (5 min walk from the centre)
- Ball games (e.g. soccer, volleyball, tennis)
- Trivia night with pizza
- Treasure hunt/ movie night
- Pub outing
