hey guys i was wondering if you do poorly in all your assesments and then get very good marks in your hsc \, hwo greatly does that effect your mark? ie if i average in teh top 30-40% and get in teh top 10-15 % in teh hsc, how much does this affect my mark? thanks..uai i mean

It depends on your rank. If you sustain your rank, then your school marks would be moderated according to the school's performance in the external exam. If your rank is low at school, but high in the external exam, then your final mark would be likely to be around the median of the two ranks.
