Skiing vs Snowboarding (1 Viewer)

Hey, can anyone tell me what snow skiing is similar to. I have never done it before and would like a bit of an idea of what I am getting myself in for.

Who prefers what snowboarding or skiing?

Went skiing first year i went to the snow. it was fun but seems restrictive.

Changed to Snowboarding the next year, stuck with it for 5 years since. When you get better and are confident it is awesome fun. Jumping off any little mound you can find. My brother and i go through the forest and find the really fresh untouched snow.

Also night skiing is fucking sweet.

snowboarding! heaps more fun. skiing requires a degree of coordination and control over the direction of each leg individually. snowboarding both legs are locked onto one board, so much easier and faster.

Snowboarding is better by far!!!.....you can pick it up heaps quick and it doesn't take you long to get good. I got a special deal on a snowboarding trip to perisher blue. I had never snow boarded before, well I hadn’t even seen snow before! and by the end of the weekend I was doing jumps ad everything! Snowboarding is great…..except I still haven’t mastered the T bar!!!

I like Skiiing better

Ive tried snowboarding and just never got the nack of it. Although i do admit carrying a snowboard i personally think is way better kewler lookin than ski's.
