Should I read Jane eyre or the summary? (1 Viewer)

I have a listening task in 2 weeks for Jane Eyre. From the looks of it, it'll be just short answer but it says I need quotes. Should I just read an analysis and summaries or read the book?

But as you are slightly pressed for time, just read the summaries..
