hey guys, long time no see,

i've been studying for like a past SC paper non-stop for ages now and I;ve come across a really easy question but I cannot seem to do it since my brain is literally dead. Are the diagonals of a rhombus equal? and are there any tips on rmembering the properties of basic shapes such as par'gram, rhombus, square, trapezium, rectangle, triangle, circle, etc.)??

ty for ur help

Diagonals of a rhombus are not equal.Think of a large diagram with things inside each other.

Trapezium = Parralelogram, rhombus, square, rectangle
Parralelogram= rhombus, square, rectangle
rectangle= square
rhombus= square

about try drawing out the shape of the rhombus. It helps you find the answer. Remember sides are equal but one opposite pair is slanted. Measure the two diagonals to find ur answer :D

Oh the other day we were doing practise papers. The question asked, list two properties of a trapezium. Everyone was like one pair of parallel sides. Then they all went "WHAT IS THE OTHER ONE?"

We soon realised the other property is it was a quadrilateral. How simple? Yet we forget that it is a property of a shape...

im maths this year we got given a whole sheet with the shapes and the properties of it.
it's really good too study off if you need to remember anything, which is me.

see if your teacher has them, or see if you can find them on the net.
