I m doing Comm/Adv Math. this year at UNSW and was wondering what you do exactly in SCIF1121. It is a compulsory course for those doing adv maths. I've read up about it on the UNSW handbook and on other forums, but I'm still curious to understand exactly you learn/do in the course. People, especially on this website have said it's just a place to meet new people and a bludge of a subject (is that correct?).
