Scientists often use models such as these diagrams to describe scentific phenomena. What is one limitation of using models?

good question...models generally illustrate a principle or theory and usually simplified to explain a concept.... only thing i can think of

So an advantage would be that they help illustrate concepts, but a disadvantage would be that they could oversimplify the real event and might not hold true under real phenomena

Scientifc models tend to generalise.

And they are not usually the most accurate form of representation. And the size of the model is not an accurate way to representing the particular model such as electron structure. They tend to ignore the ratio of the size of the particles, weight and other things.

Model is useful as it is an easy way of transfering the knowledge to the responders. But the disadvantage is that it is not often accurate however, it truly is a valid medium in which the scientific knowledge is passed through.
