isn't it a bit early to release school rankings? isn't the hsc still going/just finished?
I suspect that people are talking about two different ranks here.
The official ranks that the BOS has for each school for each subject has been released and each student can obtain that rank from the BOS (and is advised to do so as there is a cut-off date to appeal that ranking which needs to be done before the final HSC marks are done as the ranks do impact what mark is given for the scaled assessment mark).
The ranking of the schools against each other can't be done until after the HSC has been finalised as those ranks are determined by the marks achieved by this years cohort at each school.
