Hey, I've chosen The Rwandan Genocide for my Ext. His. project, and I was just wondering if anyone else has ever done this? If so, what was your topic question?

I did it for my year 11 investigation and friggin loved it. now im slightly obsessed with African history and politics. my question was "Examine the response of the international community to the Rwandan genocide of 1994"
there have been HEAPS of media articles published, there is access to us and un announcements and speeches, and several human rights ngos assessments. an excellent source on the genocide is Samantha Power and Allison Des Forges. Search the Human Rights Watch website for a very extensive analysis of the events. but yeah, its a heaps interesting topic. as a result im now doing the colonisation of central africa for my hist ext project, so yeah it definitely develops an interest. lol. as you can see by my little essay here.
