Does anyone have info. for role and response of religious traditions in Indigenous rights?

Christianity is easy...dont know about the other religious traditions though. I think it would be fair enough to say that their contribution is almost a big fat zero!! (other than acknowledgement and support that is)

I know that there has been some work by some Buddhist groups when it comes to land issues (love of the environment and all that) but Im not too sure.

best answer of the top of my head would be Islam supporting Aboriginal converts (eg Anthony Mundine speaking out against Racism etc) but that is REALLY stretching it....

BTW..even though it is a bit too large for my screen, I love your sig picture

have a look in the Macquarie book. There are two pages on this issue!!! Some of the eg's are dodgy in my opinion but who am I to comment?
