I need to write a report to outline the general use of hormone replacement therapy in people who cannot secrete aldosterone

Can someone give me any advice to start my report? Thanks :spin:

Hormones replacement therapy is a treatment given when a gland is not producing enough of a particular hormone. Fludrocortisone is a synthetic hormone which usually has to be taken orally once a day for patients who need aldosterone replacement. These patients may be suffering from diabetes, a kidney disease or have hereditary condition.

Alright, as well as doing Bio myself in school i actually take HRT myself.

Personally i have to take it because i have turners syndrome and my ovaries do not exist, therefore i need HRT to 1. Put me through puberty and 2. to help hormones do other important jobs like keep my bones healthy, stop me from getting diabetes or heart problems etc.

If you have any questions email me.
