it's not that i can't do it - i'm coping pretty well so far - it's just a few people think it's a bad idea. *shrugs*withoutaface said:Unequivocal yes. If you can't juggle the HSC and a relationship you're gonna have real fun with uni and the workplace.
Those are probably the same people who think the HSC is the end of the world. Just ignore them and make sure you're keeping abreast of your studies and you'll be fine.sophy2008 said:it's not that i can't do it - i'm coping pretty well so far - it's just a few people think it's a bad idea. *shrugs*
Fair enough, in your situation the a BF is fine.sophy2008 said:he's not in school anymore, and i don't really mind what UAI I get because I don't want to go to tertiary education anyways, i'd rather keep doing my job which i love love love. So I guess it depends. My parents think he's a bit of a distraction, but i only ever see him when he comes and visits me at lunch time and on the weekends, not after school or anything. So i think it's okay. Just wanted some other opinions
Thanks everyone =D

My boyfriend is in the same year as me and we've been going out for a year and half and I deal fine with him and the HSC.
However, I know others who get really distracted having a relationship and trying to juggle school. If you are the sort of person who can handle it then don't break it off.
