Im thinking of using life of pi as one of my related texts for the AOS. just wondering, for anyone that has read the book, which section of it would you say is the most necessary in relation to the area of study. At first i was thinking the first section which accounts for his life before the boat accident and his struggles with religion-based decision and fitting in as part of both his school and outer communities. But now im a bit skeptical of that direction and am heading more for the hardships that he faced on the boat, and the sense of belonging he developed with the permanent and unchanging environment he experienced for 200 and however many days it was.
