Raw Mark = E4 (1 Viewer)

Anyone got any idea what raw mark out of 120 would get an E4 in the HSC?
I've just been doing some past papers and wanted to see how I was going.

E4 is 90%+ right?

My maths teacher said that one year a guy got 60% in his trial for MX2 and gained a HSC mark of 88% --> he got approximately 70% in the real HSC my teacher estimated. If that's any indication.

Lol no, 90%+ raw isn't an E4, it's a HIGH E4.

E4 is given to the top 30% of the cohort (recent trends more or less) and from that, I don't think the top 30% obtain 90%+ raw in the exams, as my tutor got 94 and he knows he didn't break the 100 barrier.

obtaining a low mark (if you can call 94 a low mark) in a subject does not equate to someone being unable to teach it.

he has a 94, which shows he is able to grasp the concepts. his teaching skills is great, so don't judge him based on his mark.

also, please post a screenshot of what your final 4unit mark is, i'd love to know after the HSC.

My tutor got mark of 80 for 4unit and I went from coming in the bottom 10 for 3unit (out of about 90) to 13/83 in 3unit and 15/34 in 4unit.
Guess you plain suck.
