Hey,

Random question. Is it true that if you are still in school (or under 16 or something) that it is illegal for your employer to make you work past 9:00pm?

One of my friends who does legal studies told me. Is it true?

That is likely to be something discussed with the employer before starting work.
It would be in the agreement somewhere, obviously if u were nightfill, you would have to.

even if you 80 years old and your a casual, you can elect to not work past 9:00pm by stating the hours of availability, but if you are not flexible enough they may not employ you.

its a mutual agreement.

if you are full time or part time you contract will state your working hours or periods of when you may have to be available. which you can accept or decline.
