Quick question on primary/secondary market (1 Viewer)

As I read through the textbook it's a little confusing.

Financial intermediaries, such as banks... when I give them money, which they lend to others etc..

Is that process part of the primary / seconndary / neither market?

from what i remember its neither. What i think primary markets involve is the sale of original shares (first round offers), secondary markets deal with the trading of those shares...then again i could be wrong...
