i got something in the realm of $400 for that. I thought 10 b (if I had more time I think I may have been able to get it, I was on the right track, but I hate those messy messy algebra questions) and the fish ones were the two that I had difficulty with.

hi

For Question 9b, were we supposed to be able to find the areas of those sectors in terms of numbers or could we leave it in terms of r??? Because if they wanted numbers i completely stuffed that up! oops! Actually and i had that same problem for 9c - i left my answer in terms of u and v's. AHH!
And in answer to someones question before - i got that Barbera would have saved $550 for questino 10a iv about the loan repayments.
What about everyone else?

And question 10 iii i didn't do.
Everything else was quite good actually :)

About the savings... I am not sure but I think it was close to what Alex got... damn this terrible memory

errr u mean Angle BAO or what? for that i got Pi/3

because the value is Cos = root 3 /2 = 60 degrees = Pi/3

well ok

for the two area of triangle question

i just used the 1/2abSinC rule and yea

for the region

i found the Area of the sector, then the area of the minor segment then i did Area of sector minus area of triangle and area of minor segment
