I have this annoying question in my text book just wanna make sure I did it right

The question is a model motor so it's a coil with a magnetic field and it wants to know the magnitude and direction of the force on one side of the coil

use your right hand rule (thumb points in the direction of current, fingers in the direction of the magnetic field) and the way your palm is facing is the direction of the force. as for magnitude, use the formula F = BILsin(theta)

Yeah I tried that but kept getting the wrong answer oh well I did the others fine

They gave information for the whole coil do you need to half anything to find one side?

you take the side of the coil as a single wire, so ignore the rest of the coil and pretend the side you are after is just one straight wire
