Are we meant to know all of our preliminary work?

If so, how much time should we spend on studying it?

Yes, but just becuase it helps you understand the HSC work. Think of it to supplement what you learn in the HSC

Yes you should it is the foundation for yr 12 2unit and in 3u they test prelim in the hsc.
