Question regarding being Accelerated in MX1 (1 Viewer)

I'm accelerated in Maths and Maths Extension 1, meaning I'm going to do my HSC for it this year. Next year I'm thinking of picking up MX2 and doing the exam for it.
So to calculate my ATAR, would my Mathematics marks be completely disregarded or will it still play somehow into my ATAR? Just curious
