Question about my ATAR situation (1 Viewer)

I"m looking to get a 61 ATAR to get into the course I want. The situation is I have a very average assessment mark around 50% for English standard, mostly due to me getting a 0 for an assessment an my excuse wasn't accepted.

I know 61 isn't much, but will this really poor assessment mark make it extremely difficult to achieve this score?

You're on about 50-60 (Gotta really kill Standard English and Business, rest are okay), if a school rank was given it would be much easier. Try type it on google or go here http://bettereducation.com.au/results/hsc.aspx

Im on about 50% assessment mark right now for English but I still have one assessment left for English worth 15% which I hopefully can get near full marks for and boost my ranking. I'm trying to find my school ranking on that link but I keep getting a "The system cannot find the file specified" error.

But just say that these rankings stayed the same what would I need to get in the HSC to get my required ATAR?

To be safe, get atleast top 10 in English, Top 5 in the rest and it should be good enough for a 60-75.
