when is asks about purify, should we include also chlorination even though its used for sanitising?
cuz it doesnt actualyy durify the water
nor does ph adjusting or fluorination? do we disregard these. or should we just put em in anyways
much appreciated a bit confused

pH Adjusting, I'm not sure. If you know what you're doing, chuck it in too.
Chloronation - yes.

Remember to add details, don't just say it kills things that we don't like to drink. Also remember it's chlorine gas that's being pumped in, not the ion (I fell for this once, don't know if you have ;D) The chlorine gas forms hypochlorite ion in water (OCl-). This is the stuff that kills things.

I don't know the details for fluoronation, but just say it hardens enamel and prevents tooth decay.

im not so sure about chlorine gas, theres other forms of chlorine added like chlorine dioxide, chloroamine, and then ozone and uv treatment. ph conditioning is important because of equillibrium considerations where the hypochlorite ion is influenced by ph, probably dont even need that much detail, just ph important for effectiveness of chlorine

also, ammonia gas is added to prolong the effect of the chlorine gas
