PS3 - Is there still NTSC and PAL difference (1 Viewer)

I'm just wondering whether the PS3 games still have the NTSC and PAL problems...because if there isn't, wouldn't it be cheaper for me to get games from the US at the current exchange rate?

PS3 games are region free so you shouldn't have any problems. As long as your TV supports an NTSC signal (which most do today) then you can save a lot of money

the only thing you need to worry about is the downloadable content, say european/australian content may not work with a us game

Hmm but will the colour be any different if you bought it from US? I really hate NTSC compared to PAL colour so that's important to me. Anyone tried importing? Is it the same or is it in NTSC colour?
