I keeping getting a different answer to the book, so I think my reasoning is wrong. The question is:

A ball thrown horizontally with a speed V the from a point H above the ground lands at a horizontal distance to D meters from the point of release. Find:

A) V if D=3 and H=1.25
B) H if V=10 and D=20

I got V = 6 and H = 19.6. I think I read it correctly.
