procrastinating: your biggest distractions (1 Viewer)

hello HSCers!

it is pretty obvious that everyone, when undergoing their HSC studies will atleast once (and for some too often ) procrastinate on study and assessment tasks.

what i want to know is, what is your biggest distraction from doing study?

For me, one of them is actually this bored-of-studies site. I go on here with an eager mind to do some research in a topic and find myself drifiting to the interests and hobbies threads to see what is being said. i realise im doing this, but i cant help it!

First I decide playing one minesweeper game when waiting for something to load, then I ended up playing a dozen...

This is a distraction itself :S
I better go study...

Just meaningless searching on wikipedia and urbandictionary, posting on this site...just to name a few.

BOS distracts me, too. I spend too much time reading articles in the NCAP forum. And today, I had to fix something on my laptop, which took around an hour, because I had to restart twice.

But I've managed to get most my study together, and I'm actually feeling pretty confident now for the HSC (well, for maths at least)

sooo true. but i need a motive to go on youtube in the first place, as in theres something i wanna look at.

Seems like the internet is the biggest distraction, take comfort that year 12s last year were probably doing the same thing provided that internetz did exist last year.
