Problems with changing my major.. PLEASE HELP! (1 Viewer)

Hi I'm a year2 commerce(3502) student and I've changed my mind to major in actuarial & finance this year. However I didn't do the actuarial courses which were required in year1. I'm now taking math1151 in this semester. As I know, there are no summer courses for actuarial, so I might need to defer my uni study by a year (i.e. 3+1= total 4 years). If that is the case, can I change my commerce single degree(3yrs) to comm/sci double degree(4yrs)? so that i wont waste that extra year? Thanks a lot and advices are appreciated.

There is no automatic transfer between Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Commerce/Bachelor of Science programs. Students may apply to transfer between these Programs through UAC if they are Local students and through Undergraduate addmissions if they are International students.

and you can't have two commerce majors in comm / sci
