Hello,
My name is Charbel, I completed the HSC back in 2010 and have a degree in Civil Engineering (Traffic and Transport) from UNSW.
I have tutored all levels of mathematics over the past 15 years (Year 1 through to Extension 2), and recently quit my job to start my own tutoring business known as MATH AS ANYTHING (mathasanything.com.au) whereby I am the sole employee.
Naturally, I, myself went to a number of different tutoring centres growing up (as I trust some of you have as well) and have worked at both small-scale and large-scale tutoring centres over the years. As such, I am well across different teaching styles, classroom environments, types of homework tasks, etc. and understand the strengths and weaknesses of each. And, ultimately, have experienced the difference in being taught poorly and being taught well.
It is because of this that I offer and primarily suggest one-on-one tutoring as per my business.
WHY CHOOSE ME?
Unlike most other tutoring centres, I provide a tailored service to best suit, and improve you as a student. Every lesson and homework task is specifically designed for you - I don't have generic worksheets which I hand out to all students regardless of level. Everything is bespoke and prepared in the week prior to each lesson, specifically so that you receive the most targeted and time-effective help I can provide. I also factor in the topics you are currently studying at school and work on a flexible schedule to (for example) provide further assistance in the lead-up to exams or if other life-commitments need to take priority.
I provide said services at modest prices (which you can view via my website). Feel free to email me at charbel@mathasanything.com.au should you have any questions or require further info.

(Too many times have I walked into a classroom where a teacher has written a formula on the board, with absolutely no context as to where it has come from, and has just told students to use said formula to answer related questions - it is laziness at best).
