so today i got all my trial results and i added them up with all my other assessment and assignments throughout the whole year and entered them on the atar calculator.

It gave me an estimate of 81.

say in the HSC i flunk it, is it possible for my 81 to drop ?

is the 81 a guaranteed mark?

i know that moderation and everything counts because of different difficulties of exams compared to other schools, but just the general idea.

thanks.

Since I can see you already knew about the moderation, etc... I will just base it on what you said. Yes, you can go downwards if you "flunk" the HSC. But also depends if most of the people in the state do badly, then... other things will be factored in. But in general, DO YOUR BEST IN THE FINAL EXAM!

81 is not guaranteed. If you don't site the exams, you fail. If you sit the exams and do terrible your combined ark will be less than 81 likely.

Atar calculator wouldn't even be completely accurate.
