I remember there was a poker society when I started first year. Don't know if they're still around though.

There was a small poker-society / group kind of thing, I went to one of their nights, it was only about 12 ppl and they were all really close friends so I felt like a bit of an out-cast. A couple of times when I was at the unibar they had APL-style tournaments running, if your keen I would definately ask some of the bar staff if they know anything about it.
