Sunset so deep and thin
Beholds beneath our skin
The beauty of the light
With the shadows awakened and darkened
It is no longer gray
Like those autumn days in may
The leaves glisten
As the tree tops listen
The phases of summer move on
The wind howling in my ear
A beg, a plead, a beg of murcy even
As it slowly drowns, and fades from the peer
The bash and clash grows louder with the waves
Upon the entrance of some caves
The blistering Sun
The raging Light
For a second, i thought it put me to flight
A sudden dash
Had awakened my skin
From dreaming such things
I rub my eyes salty and sore
Not too much there to adore
The birds whistled, the bugs buzzed
Leaves layed as the cattle crunched
Awakening to the last summers day
Beholds beneath our skin
The beauty of the light
With the shadows awakened and darkened
It is no longer gray
Like those autumn days in may
The leaves glisten
As the tree tops listen
The phases of summer move on
The wind howling in my ear
A beg, a plead, a beg of murcy even
