does anyone know what the intake is for pharmacy and pharmacy (rural) because i can't find it anywhere and i was wondering if they are taking anyone in for rural this year??
please help, because i'm seriuosly confused :worried:

Yeah they took in 199 in 2005 for pharmacy but they didn't offer pharmacy (rural) in 2005. But I read 65 students entered second and third years (they had been studying through the USyd orange campus, but once it was sold, all the students were moved to camperdown). So know that they're definitely taking in for rural in 2006

umm... i think in 2005 they took in 270 odd, i'm pretty sure as i'm one of those 270

Haha, ok whoops, I realise the 199 refers only to HECS places. My bad

Taken from today: 199 Hecs places of which about 170 will be B Pharm.

how about for bpharm (rural) in 2004, anyone have any idea?

Do the maths. If there are 199 total places and 170 are B Pharm, then 29 will be B Pharm Rural

There are more spots available this year because there weren't as many international applicants, i'm pretty sure.

Also note there is Master of Pharmacy which allows 40 applicants into the program.

They recently opened up more spots for this program (hence BPharm overall) due to its success.
