A few mates and i are heading up to Surfers during party week,but i was speaking to a mate who left last year and he said that buying tickets to the organised parties is a waste of $100, just going tothe clubs is better. Whats everyone else doin??

except I have bought party week tickets, or I've clicked that I will pay anyway
There's five of us going up there and ones doubting the party week arangement, I'm still keen though.
Tell us if you hear what others are up to.

just do a one off plan-b tour for the free drinks and shit, i think it is $50 for the night, it is good if you got 3-5 mates.

You can still get into the Party Week parties without the $100 tickets. You just need an over 18 ID card and about $10 (that is the average entry price for the parties). I've checked it with schoolies.com people and the clubs. It really is a waste of $100 - they are ripping you off!
