overall gpa on academic transcript (1 Viewer)

On our academic transcript, what are the cutoffs for the gpa equivalent for pass, credit, distinction etc.

I heard that a GPA of 3.5> is a D?
GPA > 2 is P.

And also on our final transcripts do they release our overall grade i.e. pass, credit.

P = 2
CR = 3
D = 4
HD = 4
