say if your school is doing medical physics, can you sit the astrophysics one in the hsc (and you are fully prepared)?

Yes. There's absolutely nothing stopping you from doing another option. Remember that you can only attempt ONE of the option questions.

you no wat would be cool, if u had alot of free time on ur hands. learnt all the options and in the hsc picked the option that you coould ace ;)
it was just a thought... :)

unless ur planning to cop a tonne of detentions and N awards for not doing homework/assignments for the medical physics component then i suggest you stick with it and not go off and do your own thing.

Yeah, if you want to do another option make sure you've talked to the teacher, otherwise youll strike trouble in assessments and the trial.

Why's everyone bagging out medical physics anyway? It's short, simple and easy.

What more could you want? :)
