Strictly speaking, transuranic elements are any elements with atomic number greater than 92, whereas a commercial radioisotope is basically a radioactive (unstable) isotope that has application in real life today (e.g. Carbon-14). They can both be produced in nuclear reactors and particle reactors. They are also similar in that they are both radioactive - commercial radioisotopes actually utilise decay particles to use, and there are no isotopes of transuranic elements that are stable.
