New Features - Push Notifications, Emoji, Dark Theme (1 Viewer)

Hi All,

We've made some minor upgrades and enabled some new features for the forum software, these are the new features you'll be able to use:

Push Notifications
In most browsers and Android devices, you will be able to enable push notifications. What you receive notifications for can be controlled via the Acount Details -> Preferences menu.

Unfortunately, Apple devices/browsers do not (currently?) implement the approach to push notifications that other browsers have standardised on, so we are unable to offer this feature for Apple devices.



Emoji
You will now be able to type in emoji from your mobile natively, and will find all emoji available in the smiley drawer along with all of our old smileys.



Dark Theme
We know that dark themes are very common on most platforms these days and that many users find a darker theme more comfortable to use. So we have added an experimental dark theme based on the default theme.

To enable/disable it, scroll down to the bottom of the screen and find the style selector:

Just a suggestion, could we add a neutral smiley face reaction to the "likes" section of a post. Just something a bit more neutral than all the other ones. Thanks
