Bachelor of Engineering Bachelor of Commerce (BE BCom) Combined Program Approved

From 2005, the Faculties of Engineering & Commerce and Economics offer a combined degree program leading to the award of the degrees of Bachelor of Engineering (BE) and Bachelor of Commerce (BCom).

Students may apply through the UAC for admission in 2005 to the following programs:

* BE in Software Engineering BCom
o 425028 (HECS)
o 445028 (FEE)
* BE in all other programs BCom
o 425029 (HECS)
o 445029 (FEE)

Students who have completed one year or less of an engineering program at UNSW in 2004 may apply directly to Student Services, using an internal application form available from NewSouth Q. Only applicants with a UAI or equivalent rank of 96.00 will be eligible to transfer.

The BE BCom combined degrees are available in the following engineering programs and plans:

Erm... what happens if your UAI is not 96+ and you've completed 1 year of uni?
So they take 50 percent UAI and 50 percent course marks?
I want to transfer, but I don't know if I'm eligible... anyone?

Edit: Oh and, does anybody know when they stop accepting applications?

they actually had the "commerce subjects for next year", and i wrote econ1011 and acct1b. Looks like i'll leave it til 4th year if i got in too :/

I still have no idea.. maybe accounting or actuarial? And my thesis for SE will be an accounting software or blah..

Still, that's only if the application is successful. I actually started asking about SE/BCOM months ago, but nothing much can be mentioned about the progress..

btw im curious as to how much % of UAI and WAM do they consider for first year transfers?

yeah but I failed acct midsession AND finite maths midsession..

which is why i've been staying in my room for 3 days, reading finite maths for like 13 hours a day.. did same with acct :/

im on the verge of breaking down... 2.. more.. days.. stupid WAM...
