Need an idea for major task (1 Viewer)

i need an idea for the major task
you all know what its about
it must be in C/C++ (teacher requirement)
and its worth 60%(!!!!)

not web-based please


EDIT: so far the ideas are
- a simple maths game, which will allow for desk-checks, etc (which is the main thing my teacher is looking for)
- a graphing programme (cartesian plane)

Our major project didn't have many requirements. Nor did we learn all that much. I did score 100% in the practical bit though, we used VB.

Try and separate yourself from the herd. I'm sure your teacher's given you ideas, build on all of them so they have extra features ( and hence explain it in your docu). We did a quiz/game. If you can have a variety of different little functions you'll be set. A simple maths game isn't enough. If you had a theme (our's was cartoons, so I did "captain planet") then you can have a consistent topic + consistent images appearing. This also means all your activities can be related to a said theme.

If you have a bunch of unrelated games/activities in your program, it won't do as well in the "I'm a teacher and can do anything I want with these 10 marks" section.
