We're doing subject selections at my school now. These are the subjects I've picked for now:

English Adv.
Studies of Religion II Unit
Maths Ext. 1
Physics
Japanese Continuer's
Software Design and Development

Do you guys reckon these would be good?
I've heard Software has a lot of writing, is this true?
I'm doing pretty well in english this year, should i change to english ext 1 and drop a unit of SoR?

If you prefer english to religion, then do extension english instead.

Or you could do both SOR and EE1 - the workload difference isn't that much.

Japanese is very difficult.
My two best friends are doing it (though I admit, through open high).
It's very challenging & there is a lot of work, even my friend who topped the class is struggling to keep up with the work levels.
Only pick it if you know you can handle a large work load.

Japanese Continuers, in my opinion, is not at all difficult, and definitely not difficult. The work levels are not at all a lot and although it can be challenging, it is very enjoyable. That said, you should definitely do Continuers.
