I'm finished with school...but can someone tell me if a large number of people are still going to school even after the yr 10 school cert is over.

My mum asked me to find out...

My bro goes to Chatswood High, if that makes any difference.

When I did the SC. We could leave school if we brought in a note saying we had a job or were looking for a job. So me and my friends just got our parents to say we were job hunting even if we werent.

At my school, Year 10 finished last week - meaning they do not go to school anymore until next year. Aren't all schools like that?

Well technically the Board of Studies makes it a requirement that a student completes school until the end of the term - after the School Certificate has been completed. But it really depends on your school - if they care - then go to school, otherwise just stay home.
