Is it recommended that I study/memorise quotes from each of these speeches? Or will going into the examination with maybe 4 prepared be better?

I have not written notes on any of the speeches set for study yet, and was just wondering if I would survive if I didn't prepare all of them. Thank you.

I knew 3 extremely well (my essay's ones), and I knew little bits and pieces of other speeches. If I did not know the quote word for word, I knew them verbatim. I think markers are quite lenient if the HSC were to specify a particular speech for analysis - they would allow quotes to be verbatim. And you'd be able to use some of the techniques for one of your other speeches and apply them to the designated speech.
