Hi peeps,

I hear that BOS takes into account relative gaps in between ranks. I was just wondering, what if the marks are closer together in the actual hsc, especially for high scaling subjects such as 4 unit maths. Do the relative gaps really matter?

Relative gaps don't really matter in the externals from my understanding. I believe the internal marks are determined through distributing the sum of external marks of the cohort based on the gaps/ranks for the internal component.
