i find that questions that rely on you knowing exact colours of precipitates don't come up much though? i feel like i've seen a multiple choice where you had to know that barium is a green flame and calcium is a red flame but otherwise it's not the most important thing to memorise i don't think

i think it is, still in the process of memorising it myself lmao
there was a question in section 2 of the 2023 hsc that kinda had to do with it where you had to distinguish between i think barium?? and something else in a sample
