Is there anyway you can bulk it up? They don't count the words, they can tell by the size of font and the number of pages. I don't know 300 words amongst 6000 probably won't be that noticeable?

um, it's kinda all here: http://www.boardofstudies.nsw.edu.au/syllabus_hsc/syllabus2000_liste.html

but anyway, the RS:
  • summarises the intent of the owrk andn the relationship it has with the extensive independent investigation
  • must include an outline of the intended sudience for the MW and the purpose fo rwhich it was composed
  • supports the MW explaining the relationships of concept, structure, technical and language features and conventions
  • should explain the developmen of concepts during the process of composition making the links clear between independent investigaiton and the development of the finished product
  • shoudl indicate how the student realised the concepts in the final product
pls excuse typos

edit: these are the only five criteria which are used when marking the RS
wow thanks.
I didn't realise there was like an actual syllabus for this subject. Cheers
