medsci path into unsw med (1 Viewer)

hey guys, can anyone who has actually gained entry into med through the medsci path (unsw) give us more insight about the whole thing? What marks (gpa, umat, etc) did you need? How was the competition?

check out the unsw med page, and relevant links on it. It's pretty self explanatory. From what my friends have said, the majority or about 3/4 students in Med Sci at UNSW want to do med. You will need to do Hons in the med sci pathway program at UNSW, but you get PRL for the course and you don't have to do the research year.
