Hi
I meant to be studying for Maths today so i can go through any problems that i have with my tutor tomorrow morning when she comes cos i have my half yearlies as soon as i go back to school next term, but help! what is the best way to study for Maths? Im only doing General, cos mostly, maths is so boring and its hard for me to get modivated to study for it. Help please?

The best way is to practice: learn your theory, but then make sure you know how to put it into practise.

First of all you need to know your thoery off. Ones that is done, keep doing past papers, the more questions types you have seen the more prepare you are for exams.

monday morning , in the car driving to school 15 mins before the exam
our school exams are really hard so there isnt much point studying for them most of the time , but its good practise to do lots of past appers for the hsc

Write on a piece of paper what UAI/Course you want, stick it on your desk and surely you will be motivated no matter how much you hate maths.

Just a note for doing past papers, make sure you stick to the time limit and make sure you dont cheat (e.g formula sheets)

Not if you don't want a UAI and if you KNOW that Maths won't count.

You really do have to force yourself to sit down and just do as many questions as you can either from chapter reviews or past papers.
