This is the question.

In 1970 I began collecting calendars and I have done so every year since. I will stop collecting when every subsequent year can be served by at least one of the calendars I have already collected. What is the last year that I collected a calendar?

Haha my guess is that he stopped in 1996
I believe that the major factor that needs to be taken in consideration is the extra day in leap years ie. February 29th and which days it falls under. From checking the computer calendar, these are the days and years:

1972 Tuesday
1976 Sunday
1980 Friday
1984 Wednesday
1988 Monday
1992 Saturday
1996 Thursday

So yea, 26 years
