Just wondering whether anyone has completed this 'crash course' in previous years, and how it went/useful/etcetera?

As I plan to undertake an engineering degree, I find, given my HSC Mathematics background that it is essential that I do this course.

So if anyone has done so, or has any knowledge/friend(s) that have completed the course I would appreciate any information. :)

i've done it. It wasn't hard, i guess once i compared it to what i'm doing now...

3 weeks, lecture-tute-lecture. Class test at the end of each week, for 3 weeks -> 30% final grade. Final exam is 70%, final grade released a few weeks b4 uni starts. Recommended you get over 70% in the course to have a good chance at hacking math 1a.

Coolcool. Thanks

Shame it coincides with O-week though.

How'd you find the transition to mx1 level? I assume they only go through valid topics of the mx1 course as oppose to the whole course..

yea they skip all the useless stuff like t formulas and go straight for the trigo. If you don't get basic mx1 trigo then you can't do math in uni.

Is it hard to attain a Credit average in engineering?
