Hi guys, has anyone done this unit before? Today was my first lecture, and it was good, just wondering where the unit goes, and does it get harder? I only did gen maths at high school, although I did get 98%, just wondering would I be able to cope with it?
Cheers

it's called linear algebra...
algebra's a completely different course..

as for the course content, it's quite difficult (as true for any maths unit) but they are all do-able...

Reading what is on the screen would be a good idea, because it's Math1012 (Life Sciences Algebra), not Math1002 (Linear Algebra) that we are discussing.

I'm not mathematically inclined, so it was in one ear and then out the other, but I do know that I didn't consider it to be that difficult, and that I preferred this unit to the calculus units in terms of general enjoyment (if that's possible for one with my frame of mind when it comes to maths).

I can't say much more than that, really.
